Accounts and eligibility
Users must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and use Ride only for lawful purposes. Ride may require phone verification, email verification, payment validation, identity checks, driver document review, business authorization, or other account controls before certain features are available.
- Riders are responsible for trip requests made from their accounts.
- Drivers and couriers must be approved before receiving trip or delivery requests.
- Business admins are responsible for invited users, billing controls, and authorized use.
Rides, courier services, and availability
Ride provides a technology platform that helps users request transportation, scheduled rides, courier services, business travel, and related support. Availability, pricing, ETA, route, driver assignment, pickup location, and service options may change based on traffic, demand, location, driver supply, weather, safety, or operational conditions.
Payments, authorizations, and fees
Ride may authorize or charge a selected payment method before matching a driver. The rider sees the ride total before confirming. Applicable fees may include fare, tolls, airport surcharge, state or local surcharge, wait time, cancellation fee, courier fee, business account charges, account credits, and taxes where required.
Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card networks. Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
User conduct
- Do not threaten, harass, discriminate, damage vehicles, evade payment, submit false reports, abuse refunds, or interfere with platform operations.
- Do not use Ride for illegal goods, unsafe packages, weapons, hazardous materials, or activity that violates law or policy.
- Ride may suspend or remove accounts for safety concerns, fraud, nonpayment, document issues, repeated complaints, or policy violations.
Business accounts
Business account features may include employee rides, guest travel, courier requests, receipts, billing controls, departments, reporting, and account permissions. Business admins must ensure users are authorized and that account use follows company policy and Ride rules.
Platform limits
Ride works to provide accurate pricing, routes, support, safety tools, and account controls, but services may be interrupted by network, GPS, map provider, payment provider, device, weather, traffic, or third-party issues. Ride is not an emergency service. In an emergency, users should call 911 or local emergency services.
Changes and contact
Ride may update these Terms as the platform grows. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the updated Terms. Questions may be sent through the Help Center or Contact page.
