Platform relationship
Ride provides technology that helps approved drivers and couriers connect with riders, delivery customers, business accounts, and courier requests. Drivers and couriers control when they go online, whether to accept eligible offers, and how they manage their availability, subject to safety, law, and platform policy.
Eligibility
- Drivers must meet age, license, insurance, vehicle, background, and market requirements.
- Couriers must meet identity, eligibility, delivery, and document requirements.
- Ride may require re-verification, document renewal, background review, vehicle inspection, or account review at any time.
Paperwork and review
Applicants may submit license, vehicle registration, insurance, inspection, profile photo, vehicle photos, courier documents, and other required files. Ride operations employees review submissions and may approve, decline, request more information, or suspend access if documents expire or appear inaccurate.
Trip and delivery requests
Available offers may include pickup address, dropoff address, distance, estimated time, route context, rider rating, notes, estimated pay, and service type. Drivers may accept or decline offers. Once accepted, drivers should proceed to pickup, mark arrival, begin the trip only when the rider is present, and complete the trip at the destination.
Earnings and payouts
The rider sees the full ride total. The driver sees the driver payout for the offer. Ride may deduct platform fees, payment processing, refunds, credits, toll adjustments, taxes, insurance, airport or state surcharges, or other permitted amounts before calculating platform revenue. Payout timing depends on account standing, completed ride count, payment provider, bank timing, and fraud controls.
Safety, ratings, and service standards
- Drivers must maintain safe driving, clean vehicles, professional communication, accurate arrival and trip status, and lawful conduct.
- Drivers may not discriminate, threaten, pressure, contact riders after trips without a support reason, manipulate GPS, or accept trips outside the platform.
- Riders and drivers may rate each other. Repeated poor ratings, safety reports, fraud, or complaints may lead to review or removal.
Access changes
Ride may approve, pause, suspend, or deactivate driver or courier access for safety, fraud, document issues, non-compliance, legal requirements, low service quality, payment risk, or unresolved support matters. Drivers may contact support to request review where available.
